So a bit of a back story on me, I've had several machines from all the mfg's and although they all are pretty good I've always been partial to Honda! Even back in the 450 Foreman ES and 500 Rubicon atv days when Honda was on the forefront of atvs, I had one! But for the first time in my adult life I've been machine less for 8 months and I had freedom to get any machine I wanted and I went back to the tried and trued Pioneer 1000. We had a 2022 pioneer and that thing was a nightmare from day one from getting it from dealer to modifying it! It was during the COVID crap and a lot was happening in my personal life and we sold it! Fast forward to now and I found this leftover 2024 in Indianapolis for a great price! I've always enjoyed being a club member and I've met many great people on here through the years! I've come and gone but I'm back and enjoying it daily! I've reached out to a few members here for specific questions and help and I greatly appreciate their help, feedback and advice! It's a great community here and glad to be apart of it!
So this build started with a 1000-5 deluxe and so far I've added the Fox shocks from Ron Ayers. Hard to beat their price for great shocks. I kept my Alien shade mesh roof from my last one and so far it's working out great! I have done the full relay and fuse panel and adding the lighted headlight switch and high beam
LED lightbar! I have a windshield ordered and wiper kit from Bent Metal. Crossroads 3D made me a custom panel and I installed the Badlands Apex long drum 5500# winch with a Warn mount! Turn Pro signals are coming soon and tires! @ToddACimer hooked me up with the rear seat risers and @JACKAL has helped me a lot with wiring layout and setup! Appreciate their help immensely!!!!
