P1000 Need Help with removing pin from relay.

Trying to install and accessory and following the instructions it want's me to remove a pin from one the factory relays and install their wire. I have tried to remove it every which way I know but with no luck. Anyone got any pointers?

From the relay or from the relay harness?
To my knowledge, relay blades/pins are not removeable.
From the harness, sometimes you have to slide along the connector to push in a little tang to release the connector.

Do you want to remove the actual blade from the relay, or the connector from the relay base?

I've tried that but I can't give to move. I just about screwed up untill I quit and bent it back so I could get the relay back in. Don't know what I'm doning wrong. I worked on it for an hout and couldn't get is to move.

In trying to remove the female connector from the "relay base plug", you'll need to apply inward pressure from the wired end, while pushing the tool in to release the little bent tab. Otherwise, the little tab will just dig in to the plastic and you won't get it to release.

Pictures going in would help us determine exactly what you're up against.
