RB3 which do you run? The 1 - 1.5 or the 1.5 - 2? I would be going with a 28x10x14 tire all of the way around with stock LE rims, at least for now.
If you don't ride tight trails, I would go with one inch in the front and 2 inches on the back that way front and rear are same width. We ride tight trails in NW Arkansas and I didn't want to go wider or taller with a lift. I've got 6+1 front and 5 + 2 rear rims, I'm stock width. I do like the 30 inch tires though, but that requires forward a arms, I'm running SATV a arms, I would check out some other a arm suppliers if you go that route. SATV customer support is lacking! I have 1" all around right now and I would not ride with out them

Do you have to have them when buying 7" rims 5+2 15x28?


Sorry this can get confusing.

To answer your question, no you do not have to have spacers. You can ride without and be just fine. But, If you put the 5+2 rims on all 4 corners the back will be slightly narrower.

I have the 15in wheels in a 5+2 offset.

You have 2 options to make your wheels line up in the same track.

1. Put 1 inch spacers on rear and no spacers on front. (This is what I did)

2. Put 1 inch spacers on front and 2inch spacers on rear. (Several folks have done this as well)

I recommend putting the same wheels (5+2) all around so you can use them anywhere and easily rotate. If you use a different offset on front and back you are limited. And obviously will have a different spacer requirement

No worries for the camber angles? 1" spacers all around and wheel spacers too? Im tryin to plan the setup.

I put the streetrays brand 1” spacer kit off eBay, they are listed for pioneer 700 and 1000, the kit comes with 4 spacers but only two will work for the front of the 1000-5. I’m going to have to make the rears, with only the front installed it made it sit level and I took it out around the orchard hitting some washout ditches and I can’t really tell a difference if any of it being stiffer. Here’s a couple pics of it installed

Nope, if you pull the spring off there is a plastic cup on top between the the spring and retainer this allows the spacer to sit flush on both surfaces, the spring is not progressive so it doesn’t know what side is being compressed, if you look at almost all preload adjustable shocks the preload ring adjustment are on top, that’s all a spacer is, just a preset preload. You can put the spacers on top or bottom it will have the same outcome.

I bought the HL 2.5" lift. 15" wheels with 28's, Light bar, radio, jack and rear tire holder, switch plate and some other goodies. Have NO IDEA how to install the switch plate to LED's

If you google lightbar rocker switch schematic it will bring up a wiring diagram, that’s how I wired mine, but essentially you will have a relay hooked to your battery then out of the relay to your light bar, will have the rocker switched hooked to your relay and run a separate key on power from the factory fuse box to your rocker switch for backlighting of the switch if you want, obviously I over simplified it and probably left something out but at least it’s a start

Nope.. the spacer is upside down. It’s in the right place on the shock but the spacer is clearly bottom side up.

Nope.. the spacer is upside down. It’s in the right place on the shock but the spacer is clearly bottom side up.
Think the spacer is you! HA!
