I did 20 on the front doors and 50 the windshield and you could still see right through it. I think it’s because the entire roof is glass as well. So I went ahead and did limo on all doors... first time since I was a kid. Pain in the ass at night but fine during day. I just roll down windows to back up at night.

Did you do a strip on the windshield? or entire thing?
Neither @JTW or I has the sunroof, so we don't need to go as dark. I found 35 matched factory pretty damn good. The entire windhshield is nice. Don't really need sunglasses unless driving into the sun on a bright day.

Other than the small dent on the front passenger fender and he lack of navigation that was supposed to be on it! And not writing some of the rebates I was told I would get. Gerrrr!! But we’ll see how they handle it.

Take it back a ram has navigation and no dents!

You can't do squat with it unless you pull over and put the truck in park.
It can't calculate the time it take to get from point A to point B even after I've been there a couple of times.
It chooses the worst routes
The updated maps are $159, and if you don't buy the new maps the entire system shuts down

I use my phone or Garmin instead.

It can't calculate the time it take to get from point A to point B even after I've been there a couple of times.
It chooses the worst routes
The updated maps are $159, and if you don't buy the new maps the entire system shuts down

I use my phone or Garmin instead.

If you are coming to takeover, I can fix your complaint regarding input in motion.
The one thing I like about my nav, is the sirius traffic, it will route me based on traffic.

I also did the override and while I was at it I did a HDMI input to play videos for the kids.

I don’t like the Ford navigation either but it now has the ability to use Waze navigation which is excellent.

FYI ForScan will let you bypass a LOT of things in the Ford Computer.

I’m running Sync 3 and some things done with Forscan and some done with an added piece.

Oh OK, I’ll see if I can find this product that I purchased that allowed me to do that

This is the product that I used or one similar like it. I can’t remember if mine had HDMI or I had to get a conversion for the RCA cables. I don’t use it very much except for on long trips where the kids like to watch it.

I used to use it for navigation before the latest update allowed us to use Waze

I have sync 2 in my 15’ Platinum and it sucks monkey balls. It’s not horribly bad better than 1. There’s a company that does a conversion to sync 3 with the maps it’s 2k without and you can use Apple play it’s 1,200 still a lot of bones.
