P1000 New Owner Pioneer Forest

Picked a forest I had on order for just shy of 2 years. I had the heater installed and I get a little antifreeze aroma when it runs and I'm wondering if that will go away after it is broken in or if it's something I should look at closer.

Yeah, there was probably some spillage onto your radiator fins. Just run your temp gauge to monitor it. Should go away in a days riding.

Congrats! They have a funny smell anyway for the first few hours of use.

Congrats on your new ride! you will enjoy it alot. I have a 22 trail. I had the dealer install the heater and had the same smell. I would recommend parking it with the front end higher than the rear end, remove the rad cap and run it for 30 minutes to burp any air pockets from the system and then top up the fluid level.
