New to SxS

Hello everyone, I just purchased a new 2021 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe. The SxS is expected to arrive at the dealership around the middle of June. I have been reading about a heat issue in the cabin on these units. I am disappointed in Honda that they have allowed this issue to go on through several model years. Another surprise to me was the fact that Honda does not install skid plates to protect the underbelly of these machines. The articles that I have read about these machines indicate they are very popular. Does anyone have any other tips for me? Interested in any good or bad thought you have from your experience with Honda's

UHMW Skids super hard plastic! The best of the best! Heat in cab is a non issue. heatshields are easy and I know @trigger makes them for the 500. maybe the 1000 too? I don’t think you’ll be regretting your choice of SXS manufacture. I never have. Welcome.

WELCOME from NW Arkansas! Skip all the seat insulation kits and mount a fan blowing across the headers on a switch, that way you have heat in the winter. The fan works!
