P1000 New top Alien sunshade

I plan to take some measurements and maybe contact them or just look into what they have online, but your right that it might just be doable with the 1000 top

The 1000 top is 62.75" long x 53.75" wide and the corners are cut at a 45° angle 7" the the edges.

Another option is the spidershade, they make Jeep tops and while not on their site you can call them and they will make a top for the 1000-5. I got mine from them before alien shade had theirs out on line.

Don’t hold me to the exact number but it was close to 180 when I got mine over a year ago from Spidershade. They we the only ones making at that time and I believe they are slightly larger than the alien shade.

I just installed a grey Alienshade on my 5 seater. It seems to be very well made and gives a much more open air feel than the hard top. The install was pretty easy but it didnt have any instructions so I had to wing it. Tip: Alienshade Tag appears to go on the back!
So far I'm very pleased, especially for $120 with 2 day delivery with Amazon prime.

No they don't. I bought a red one for a P1K-5 from Amazon.119.00 to my door.

Got my Alien Shade on today.
Easy install, just put 1 on each corner. And then alternate sides and ends. ALOT more light in cab than I'm used too. Let's see how it does in the Central Texas sun.

They hold up a lot better than you think to the branches - was riding in some trail with thorns hanging down and it did not phase the Top

I dont plan on using it when I ride in the trees. I use the plastic top a lot on the off camber spots

The only thing is I did a couple leans on trees off camber and I had to replace one of the shock cords last year.

I've used my Alienshade in the northern Michigan jungle and we even rolled over this last weekend without a thread missing from it. It's looks just as good for wear as my Honda hard roof. Can't beat it for the combo of shade and air flow.
