To all you Floridian's that ride in the National Forest. I am planning a trip to Florida and i am thinking about taking my P500. What i am wondering is how are the trail conditions? I am looking for nice wooded trails and really not interested in spending a day mudding.

We spend most of time riding in the Ocala National Forrest. I think the P500 is the right machine. Trails from 50" to wide open. Not a alot of mud, a lot of sugar sand. T 20190830 121312 20190830 121327 20190830 125050 20190914 113156

If needed, try reposting this in the General section or Regional section for more visibility. Some threads that might help. Sounds like a good trip.

Its mostly sugar sand, but some area's are swamps if the rain level is high, we stayed at the KOA last thanksgiving, saw 2 black bears on the trails, kind of cool as long as they keep their distance

Thanks for the info, I see your from NC we do Brown Mountain quite often and i'm looking for something that is not so rocky and can just cruise along with a good distance to it. The bears would be cool to come across it has been quite a few years since i have seen any.

We stayed at the KOA last weekend and rode most of the trails, no mud, lots and lots of sand. As always was a great time

Lots of sugar sand. Not a lot of mud. Decently numbered trails. We stay at the KOA when we go. We are going there for Thanksgiving as we do almost every year.
