Done my third oil change today. Since the very first one the dipstick never reads right. I put in the 3.1qts. But it still does not show full. Its about half I'm the bottom side of the dipstick and a quarter on the top side. Any thoughts. I've checked it just like the manual said to.

I’d just top it off to the high mark and run it, then check it again. ;) I noticed it took more for mine but I also let it drip dry. It holds 3.6 quarts. Maybe they’re math is off.

Agreed. You want to be closer to the high mark on the 700's. You DO NOT want to be anywhere close to the bottom.

Be sure you are letting it sit after running recommended time before checking.
Also. Do not screw in the dip stick to check.

Find a post in a few.

Dipstick always reads right if you're doing it right. Use the manual as a rough guide, not the final word. You will need close to 4 quarts in a 700 if you jack up the front and let it drain a while. It varies.

That’s what mine takes as well.
