Nice bikes @mjn . Are you on Facebook and if so, have you joined the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle group? It's a pretty cool group, especially for FB. They kick out anyone who acts like a d***. Japanese Vintage Motorcycles

Yes, I am. Lots of really cool stuff gets posted there.

I also just "remembered" I have one more bike. 1975 CB550f. Added to list above.. It's my dads old bike that he gave to me. It's been in storage for 15-20 years and needs a lot of attention. Would be really cool done though.

I've got the usual hobbies. Hunting, fishing and riding my buggy. I started keeping bees this past spring and really enjoy it. I like it so much I've started building my own hives. Right now I just have one but I'm going to try and catch a couple of swarms next year and start the grandkids some hives 1538570678789465541306

That’s a great hobby and something we need plenty more of as I’m sure you know that there’s a problem with the bee population which is responsible for the pollination of food around the world. Great new hobby ST...

I had a couple of hives the last few years... both of them got infested with wax moths and all the bees abandoned the hives. :(

I burned everything except my flow hive which was empty at the time. I may start up again as I know my bees are still around... just need to find them!

Flow Hive - Honey On Tap From Your Own Beehive

Wax moths suck. I looked at the flow hive but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I think my next one may be a top bar hive. A few drops of lemon grass oil on a cotton ball may pull them right to your hive. I've never tried it but they say it's a great way attract swarms. I'm sure you've forgot more about bees than I know :). Good luck with the Flow Hive.

Nah... I'm a newbee... heh.

I would warn you off the flow hive. Sounded better than it worked, that is why it was empty. The bee lady in town said most folks didn't do so well with them.

I am going to try a Warre top bar style next time.

Good luck!

I know a guy that helps me build a light to my exact specs. Pick the size of light, it's use, color temp, lumen output, and lux output. I have a AAA pocket light that puts out over 500 lumen. It's brighter than 4-4D Maglights. Then you can pic the material it's made of, Alum, titanium, gold plated, copper, brass, etc

Or, I have a light that will throw a beam a mile and it's the same size as a 2D Maglight.

On a foggy night, it looks way cool.

What would it run cost wise to make the flashlight the size of the 2D cell mag. I have a thing for flashlights I currently have a 6D cell mag

Underwater Kinetics Light Cannon 100 HID Dive Light - Downbelow Adventures Borneo

LEDs put out so much more light these days, WAY smaller batteries too.

Oh yea.. the technology in LED's is insane now.

Lots and lots of quality flashlight companies out there now, most from China :) I bought a Surefire incandescent 6P light off ebay, & put in a Malkoff LED drop in. The sucker is amazing! I have it mounted to my Mossy 500 12GA next to my bed.
