I will take a picture tomorrow that should convince you that it is impossible for it to hit the frame.......... as I said before "the shock will bottom out long before it hits the frame"
I am going with standard.Being that they are adjustable , I can always stiffen them up if I need to !Cant wait for the final product to be tested. Are you planning on standard or HD shocks?
It would be at a much lesser angle during compression , the pic shows worse case senario.the shock will never reach that much angle.Do you take angle of compression into consideration. I'm not familiar but is there optimal angle that shock needs to be compressed. Or any angle is fine???
Any idea what the spring rate difference is between the HD and the standard ? I thought I read somewhere that it was 100# difference !with the angle they are mounted you will want the hd its more leverage then the ride they were designed for it not you will be adjusted to full preload in a mth
For some reason , proggresive does not have the specs on there webb site !any specs on the 429s
Line #2@jak9922 did you look at these http://www.progressivesuspension.com/product/6079/429-series-shocks when you looked for shocks ? (they are 429's for the rhino)............I like the black better than red
What is different from the 425 shocks ?
