P1000 Pioneer 1000 - Color Conversion

I've been wanting to swap my 2018 1000-5 Deluxe from red to the metallic silver and I believe that your original post on this thread is what I need (a little old but I believe it is still accurate). I just wanted to confirm that the 2016 plastics will fit fine on my 2018. I was wanting to get the 2018 LE gray but can't justify spending that kind of money for a color swap. Thanks in advance for any info!

Partzilla is no more.....at least for the 08F72-HL4-A01ZD red kit.

They canceled my order and when I phoned them, I was told this kit was discontinued from Honda.

Anyone else having similar experiences?

I did a little looking through the Rockymountain Parts fische and you should be able to get the 6 panels you need if you would like to make a deluxe. I never really understood the upgrade kit, because it cost quite abit more then the individual panels. From what I understand you will need some type of fastener (nutsert) to attach the panels, but it still looks like they are available individually.

You are correct with the numbers. I traded mine to the silver last spring and like it lot better then the bright yellow. The price has gone up from when Jackal got his and actually has gone up another $30 from when I did mine last spring. They are pretty easy to change out. I believe there are 4 hidden screws in the front fender that are kind of tricky to remove and becareful not to strip the allen heads on the door panels. Mine were torqued down so hard from the factory that I couldn't get 2 of them out without drilling them out.

Time to bring up a dying thread. I'm looking for the OLIVE panels for the 1000-5 as an upgrade. Called Honda and they said they are discontinued. Hoping someone had a trick up their sleeve or a set they no longer want I have the 2018 base in Olive and really like the color. I will go black if I have to. But you know what they say about going black...

I bought green ones from Ron Ayers a few months ago. Doors/bed panels were over $500. Other colors are much cheaper but seem to be available.
