Added the fabric rear panel and gave the pioneer a good washing last night to test the dust protection today. After riding an hour on the dusty roads I am very pleased. The rear panel eliminated dust in the rear seat area as far Is I can tell so far. It rolls up in a minute when you need the dump bed and it looks sharp. Definitely recommend this accessory for taking passengers off road in dry conditions.

Will the rear panel work with the tailgate down and bed extender installed? 95% of the time we are on county roads driving between the farm and pastures and a TON of dust gets into the backs seats and even some into front seats.

It will not. Maybe If you built something custom.

Thanks for the picture! That is my only complaint so far. Wouldn't be a huge deal but the backseat is intended to haul the kids along and I'm afraid it's way too dirty for them to be riding back there. I'm probably going to order one and see if I can't figure out some way to attach it at the bottom so that I can have the tailgate open to hauls feed bags, tools, etc.

The only thing that helped me was tilting out the front windshield or completely removing it.

I have seen that recommendation on here. I'm reading all the threads tonight about it and some say the back cover helped and some say it didn't, I do have the two piece windshield so I will try that tomorrow when I go out to check cows and see how it works but will still probably order a rear cover too. Thanks for your help!

You can't go wrong with the rear cover. I like mine so much, I ordered one for the pioneer 1000.

There may be an aftermarket model available. I only know of the Honda version.

1" Round Open Screen Vent - tab style, black
What are your guy's thoughts on adding a couple of these to the windshield to allow some airflow to reduce some of the dust vortex? If I'm an idiot for thinking this will work please let me know before I start drilling holes into a perfectly good windshield!o_O

I just saw on another thread where someone used a "vetter vent" and said it helped so maybe I'm not as crazy as I thought I was! Haha

I remember someone saying those helped. I think he was using something like a louvered vent? Probably the same post you found. If you try it and it works please do post some pictures! I'm getting sick of hay blowing down my neck!

I would think a hood scoop on the roof would work if someone would try it. Something that could be opened and close easily. Just a thought....

Well i ordered the "Yetter Vent" system. I liked the idea of being able to close them instead of my original thought of using a $2.00 vent that i couldn't close. I'll keep you guys updated on my progress. Any ideas on where to put the vents?
