That looks nice, easier (no weld) bracket, doesn't look as though anything had to be rerouted. It doesn't appear that that set up is capable of bringing heat into the cab. But drawing the hot air under the seat and discharging it to the rear may be more effective than drawing the cabin air and discharging it to the rear???

@Montecresto look back on 2275 on my build if interested I think that's where it's installed. Also have 2 3"fans pushed warm air into the cab. Both heat and cool are on auto switching. It's actually pretty easy and very reasonable
I don't want to dirty this thread up too much on this

This thread has taken lots of twists and turns, but I've got to have this done before PROTC or mamas not going! So I consider it relevant to the thread. Thanks CP, I'll check out your build thread! :)

Hadn't thought about that, it's a good point. However, I can't afford to make discovery out there, if you know what I mean. :D

Lol. Yeah but I'll expect you enjoying them with me at each occurrence, with food, wine and song, and don't want to send you back to your tiny trailer with a temperature. :(
Don't burn pine then. That seems to be the stuff that f***s me up.

Still not certain about the movement of air as you have your fan setup. Where did you buy the fan and for what vehicle?
Universal radiator fan. It pulls air in from sides and out the back. You actually feel hot air at the right rear tire. Works well for rear cooling as well. It wouldn't work as well without skid plates but I don't think most would. I have it on a variable switch too because it is a lot of air. Ebay is where I buy everything

Feel free. It's PROTC related.

Well we know that in the majority of South Dakota it will be buffalo chips lol, but conifer will be the prevalent wood all elsewhere. Going to get skilled at setting down wind, or bring penicillin for your outbreaks. Get with Cuoutdoors for that. :D

Somewhat lol. Factory is very flimsy and lets lots of air flow. A lot of heat is caused by running the full aftermarket setups.

Sounds like you're saying that relevant to cab heat, factory skids are preferred to AM???

Kilo has the drugs. Lol. That will be my plan, stay out if the smoke as much as possible. I've gotten pretty skilled over the years at parking strategically as to avoid being right in the line of smoke.

Factory skids do hold less heat. I sure don't feel safe with them though
Monte, I am running my factory skids. For the type of riding you and I do they are sufficient. CP has a slightly more aggressively riding style and needs skids, a 50 Cal turret mounted machine gun and a pickup truck full of a arms at disposal. I seriously doubt the PROTC will get that intense, except for maybe the end. :p
