Well you've got 50lbs of chicken lights ya damn hillbilly. Y'all thought I was bluffing about 500 lbs eh? We'll see who's laughing when we meet in WisconsinHit the bottom with 2 thick coats of roof tar, flipped it over and bolted 6 d rings through the floor and frame, and 2 coats of rustoleum industrial enamel on top. Also got my chicken lights all wired up.

Yes... I sat in @Jshell3's at the takeover.. I noticed immediately it was softer and more cushiony!Have you sat in a 17 model? I'm really curious if the seat is much better.
Heck yeah you did.Yes... I sat in @Jshell3's at the takeover.. I noticed immediately it was softer and more cushiony!
May have to consider placing an order at my favorite Honda dealershipYes... I sat in @Jshell3's at the takeover.. I noticed immediately it was softer and more cushiony!

Heck yeah it was.
Try one... might make your ass sweat more being more formed rather than sitting on top. Buuuut the 16 seat doesn't bother me. I grew up in a saddle... I thought cushions were for queers and people with hemorrhoids!May have to consider placing an order at my favorite Honda dealership

Wow!!!!! How's the heat and air going to work in this new setup? What about tv and interior lighting?? What roof top model do you have an eye on??So, I decided today to change up the plan on my trailer build. I put it across the scale and it was already over 700lb and I hadn't even finished the interior. Plus I wasn't real thrilled about the construction methods I employed. So Shelby got a new awesome tween getaway in the backyard. I've decided to use a rooftop camper attached to a flat trailer, with some storage boxes etc. My thought it it will keep the profile lower while traveling and maybe??? Save a penny or two in gas. So, today I rebuilt the trailer. Little trip to the lumber yard in town and we were on our way

So in all seriousness what should the target weight be? I'm considering an enclosure on the back of the Honda to house clothes and food etc. I strongly discourage food in the trailer. The trailer will just have sleeping stuff inside and maybe a few things mounted on it. What's the target for curb weight of everything together ready to roll? The pioneer weighs 1541 lbs. I'm thinking 2000-2500 total weight....Great question. Guess I'll have to do without some. The weight was just too much. I'll find a link, i posted one I really want a couple pages back
The 5 seat deluxe is over 1800lb wet. Nearly 2k with accessories. You have nearly 1k lb to work with before you catch me even with a light trailer. I'd say 2500 gvw is a good target. So in all seriousness what should the target weight be? I don't see how 700 lbs (or 1000 for that matter) is too much???? From the earliest conversation on the subject 7-800 lbs was the expected curb weight??? Have you learned something about the P1K or the route that causes you concern???Great question. Guess I'll have to do without some. The weight was just too much.
