It will be branded onto the sidewall somewhere. Small numbers. If in doubt replace it

Did you check both sides of the tire? I'm looking at one I have here and there is a DOT number on both sides but only one side has the date stamp-

Looks like this with the two little bumps on either side

Some older tires didn't have it clear like that. It was some other stupid code.
