P700m4 PlastiDip Black Pioneer

I just finished spraying it with PlastiDip.
I personally think it looks really good.

I miss the solid black but I’ve got too many other irons in the fire to do anything about the dark silver on my 1000. I think an accent here and there looks good.

But I am a huge fan of black vehicles with minimal accents.

Simple Green gets the mud off PDQ.

I was cleaning out some paperwork and found this its the measurements for a 3.5- 4" lift for a 700 based off of the StrongMade 2" lift. Posting it here as it was on this build. If anyone wants to copy go for it. I made it out of 5/16 steel. TAKES 2 of each piece and Grade8 hardware.

Here’s a recent pic of my old 700.

Guy who bought it has had zero issues and has a ton of miles on it. Plastidip seems to be holding up well after 3-4 years.

Did that much lift ever cause the axels to bind? What size tires are on it?

No I asked him about any issues he said “none” just changed oil, brake pads, and reg Maintence in manual.

Learning you can get 3” of lift with P1000 take offs and shims. I would have gone that way if that’d been an option at the time.

Hey Ohana did you just buy a sheet of the HDPE and cut, heat and bend yourself or did you get these already done up? I had the same idea. Looking at TAP Plastics and eplastics textured ABS. What thickness is that if you remember? Just got a 2018 700-4 deluxe that I could only get in a blaze orange so I ordered the flat gray front clip pieces that look almost flat black. Don't like to be seen from space. Old military guy. Old habits die hard-

Good to know!!! Now I know how to get a "new" Pioneer without my wife killing me.....
