Plow issues

I have a 2018 pioneer 700 with 72 inch KFI plow and I have issues with it digging in changed angles even purchased different frame from KFI tried setting feet lower is 72 too big I also have 08 rhino 450 has a 66 inch plows great. Plus this UTV shifts very hard like your going to break handle and low battery love Honda's also have rubicon and rancher any advice

I'm assuming you're meaning that it keeps digging in and dumping the blade. Sounds like you need to adjust your springs on the blade. Unless it's the skids digging into unfrozen ground? Then you just have to pay attention to your blade height, don't drop it all the way down.

I have tried not letting it all the way down it pulls it down as soon as any volume of snow builds KFI said needed to change angle and sold me new frame last year still no luck old rhino plows 100 percent better but rhino is beat down

a picture of your set up may help especially from the side between the blade and the pioneer.

Those two springs on the back of the blade are adjustable. I'd try putting some torque on those.

I don't have a lot of tension on mine, and it take a lot to trip the blade. I'm thinking the push frame is at a steep angle instead of parallel with the ground. I also do not use the skids but mostly concrete. hope he post a pic. to get a better idea

Yeah I don't either. Said he already changed the angle of the push bar, weak springs are all I can think of. 🤷‍♂️

He’s a first time poster, but member since 19’ No pics, just complaining Lol. Thats why we say Pics Or It Didnt Happen! Alot Of definitions to that phrase Haha.

I have only a plow for my truck and had one on a foreman once.
@trigger has the right idea with the springs For sure.
The OP also complained about how the pioneer shifted like he just got it and wasn't familiar with the machine? Might also have something to do with his situation ? But again your right about the pics, we have little info to go by to fully help 🤷‍♂️

To who said I was complaining I am a disabled vet working full time I post questions when I can I paid 11k for machine and 700 for plow that doesn’t work I have had Hondas my whole life battery dies all the time and hard to shift like something is going to break worries me that’s why I asked for help. Dealer says nothing is wrong

Looks like you have the same setup I do. Only thing I see different is your push frame is higher than mine. But it looks like your plow is leaning forward to much. There are 4 holes where the plow attaches to the push frame and yours is in the forward most position which I think is the problem. Pull the 2 bolts and rock the blade back so it's more vertical.

Thank you does your machine shift real hard from neutral to forward or reverse asked dealer to turn down idle said they cannot had them replace battery now it is weak again plus it sounds like grinding when you go downhill dealer said this is normal

the blade is leaning to far forward which is why it trips so easy. mine will almost stop the sxs if going slow before it will trip. I'm sure after you relocate that to a more vertical position you will be happy with your plow. keep me posted.

yes they shift firm. must be at a complete stop and on the brake to shift. thats normal it's the engine brake.

I would probably go 1 hole farther back than where mine is set for a starting point because your mount point is a little higher than mine

Looks to me your attack angle is way off.Your blade should be back more at the top your feet should be almost flat to the surface with the blade down.But if you get the blade to stand up more looks like your springs are going to be to long.Are they stock for the blade.As for the shifting i have no idea.
