Dozens of pages of fire recalls for EVERY model Polaris makes on the CPSC website should be a warning to people. It’s more than just a gas can left in the bed to spill.

Simple fact that is not mentioned in the article is the CVT drive in all of theses . Rubber belt and friction that leads to extreme temperatures that go ignored or unnoticed by occupant leads to a supper heated fire fed by the rubber from the belt that shreds over time in the housing. Design that is needed to keep the belt dry so unless you run a uncovered belt you run the risk of fire .
