$13,500 for a Pioneer 500? On the Honda Canada website its $10,500 MSRP Canadian dollars full price, should be able to finesse a deal in the $9500 range before taxes & fees unless the Dealer is counting on you to pay for their kids college at Oxford.

Many dealers do not charge freight and setup "vehicle processing" fees and can sell OTD at MSRP or below + Taxes.

I just bought mine on 8/7/15 US $7800 + Taxes of $487 = $8287 USD OTD ($8,499 US MSRP) This is not a huge dealership nor are they a small one, but they don't pad the prices over MSRP and almost always are under MSRP 5-9%. I have been doing business with them for 15+ years and they keep getting bigger so they aren't going broke. I understand you may have a limited dealer selection to shop around from but at the end of the day they need to sell machines to eat and a $500 profit is better than no profit by not selling to someone by asking to much or tacking on "costs".

I would work on them some until the price was acceptable to you.

Got a quote from another dealer for $12,700 out the door. Getting better.
