Looking at Honda’s 2023 line up I noticed that the Pioneer 500 & 520 are missing. I can’t find info to confirm or deny that they are discontinued. Anyone heard anything about this?
I've always thought if they discontinued anything it would be the P7? With there production issues I could see them dropping some models, maybe the I4WD Pioneers and concentrate on Talons I4WD system MGF and it wouldn't surprise me if they dropped the I4WD system completely in the future. There wasn't much wrong with the P1 Deluxe transmissions, just speculating, and they added another model the P1-6 to an already stressed MGF and can't keep up with demand now, something as got to go. I hope it's not the P52!

I would guess they are focusing on the larger, more expensive (profitable) machines until they get caught up.
Well I hope Honda brings the P52 back. When I bought my P1 I considered the P5 an entry level S X S but as the years have passed, I consider them a purpose built S X S, I would like to have one with Turf mode.

I'm sure there are some 2022's sitting on showroom floors somewhere. And i bet they are still producing the 2022 for a while. 2023's will no doubt have "new, exciting graphics" and not much else that changed.

I, of course, was just being dramatic

Theres a 22 500 locally but I need to pay off something first. And getting it setup to plow in the winter with no heated garage would be awful. But if its still there when I can get it, it shall be mine.

The Pioneer 1000 hasn't been released in a 2023 model either, except the 6 seater.
I feel Honda needs to revamp for production numbers.

1- Keep the P52 with the addition of turf mode.
2- Replace the P7 with the P1 because the P1 is no longer Hondas flag ship.
3- Reduce models of the P1 down to 1 and get rid of the LE & SE which will get rid of the I4WD in the Pioneer. And put little more power in the motor and some real suspension legs on it to compete with the R Max.
4- Talons keep the I4WD, but have an option for a non I4WD in both the X & R.

I know silly ramblings going through my mind!

That's not going to happen, it's too short of a wheel base for turf mode. One of our former members designed a lockout hub for the rear of the 500 and said it was dangerous. The machine lurched from side to side when accelerating and decelerating. Unless they engineer it to have the power and torque of a lawn tractor when in turf mode it'll be a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Doesn't it already have the power and torque of a lawn tractor? 😂

Sign me up for a single seater!
👍
Note the fire extinguisher addition to the ACE roll cage 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Kept the P500 and the ACE replaced an atv due to my thumb injury. 60 mph 570 cc and a smoother ride.
