P1000 Probably a dumb question about how to have low range in reverse

I use the critter for moving firewood and doing yard work often. Some of this involves very slow speed in reverse. I always worry about the clutches when I am doing this. I have had the clutch up-date performed.

What I was wondering about is the possibility of installing a separate shift lever for the high and low range so that low range in reverse would be selectable.

Has anyone tried this?

Thanks

No,
The Sustrans is what controls reverse. It moves past R and onto H and L. It cant be done with the design.
Good thought tho.
Now, it might be possible to trick it into changing DCT gears so you can do 60, but you can't go any slower.
BUT... a reverse gear reduction might not be out of the question. IDK. I haven't been that deep to see its workings.
