Also , I called my local dealer , they want 103$ per shock. So 168$ shipped from MRCycles: OEM Motorcycle and ATV Parts not bad at all
I'm going to have to wait on this for a bit... I hope the prices don't go up too bad. Still trying to recover from the new truck purchase (and subsequent mod purchases, of course)Also , I called my local dealer , they want 103$ per shock. So 168$ shipped from MRCycles: OEM Motorcycle and ATV Parts not bad at all
The new 2017 adjustable front shocks on the P500 are part number 51400-HL5-C21Ok....So I had to go look, they're all stamped HL5G-C21. The tech said they were made by progressive. BUT if I search that # i get squat
Agree and I would love to run 6lbs but almost everything I ride is rocky so I am afraid to drop below 10lbs .Some comfort to the ride with better shocks is good to have for me. I drive with 6 psi and it helps. I don't consider driving it like sport buggy, but it rides harsh on rocky terrain.
I think it makes the sidewalls to soft and they invite a slice from sharp rocks BUT I will try it if you could send me a tire if I ruin one old buddy .Well it's better to run on 6 psi on rocky to reduce puncture and improve comfort , crawling

I ride observed trials / moto trials . 3-4 psi in the rear and 7-9 in the front , makes for super traction but easier to get a sidewall slice .That being said , in 30 years of competition I only got 3 tires ruined from sidewall cuts so tomorrow I'm going 6psi all around . You talked me into it . lol Thanks (I hope)Same with climbing over rocks , hard inflated tires slip, but less inflated like "jellow" stick and has more contact surface and grip
