P1000 Pulled the trigger, Silver P1K-5!

Hello,
I have been lurking for months, and finally brought home a p1000! Will be used to ride to our remote cabin. There is only an ATV trail in, so I've got some widening to do!

I have 2 boys, 8 and 6.... they are as excited as my wife and I.

Funny.... I was all set on a 700-4 as I knew it would do the job just fine. I brought my wife so she could give it a test. The silver 1000-5 caught her eye though, and lo-and-behold, I guess she liked the power!

Thanks for an awesome forum! Your machines are inspirational! Nothing major planned for mine, at least until the sticker shock wears off a bit!

i think the suspension is nicer than the 700 as well.... major selling point for my wife.

We are picking the kids up after school today and heading out for the first big ride!

I've been watching all the snorkeling threads... Would you say 'up to the tops of the tires' is ok for now? Haven't had a chance to do the vents, etc.

If that's what your comfortable with for sure! But I wouldn't be scared to get your feet wet!! These machines seem to pretty well made!

I never test drove the 700-4!! I sold my wife on the 5 seater! Us and our two boys!! And the possibility that the mother in law could come as well when she visits!! Is the suspension adjustable all around or hair in the rear aswell?
