The weight on the tongue is a huge difference .
The original post states that.
Ya it does look wired but my concern is safety..
Pulling it to the woods a few miles front is fine.At high speeds it does get wobbly. I want to be Safe and being safe I don't want to loose or have anything blow off when I tow it backwards

In winter..I place bags of playbox
sand...over my rear axle..for better
Handling..

Weight reasons....a hoax
there's a thread...telling the split
weight....it's no where near 40/60
.....the rear end...allows p5 to go
farther back......
some do it...cause driving skills
depth perceptions. ..are off...
slamming winch into....front
of bed...
I won't remove parts....to haul
BACKWARDS...
one of the few on here...
that got...the right truck
to haul....my STOMPER

Wasn't a hoax for me, forward on a 5x8 tilt trailer and it took 2 people to tilt back down and above 40mph it was scary, backward still had to pull the tilt bed down but did not take near the effort and it was scary above 60mph. Stopped at lowes and bought bags of quickcrete to give it more tongue weight so I could get above 60mph on the interstate.

bought a 12' foot trailer and due to front bumper/winch hitting front cross bar on trailer I just load backward with rear wheels tight against front of trailer. Now have a Quadboss roof and fold down windshield and no issues towing 100 miles at 70-75mph.
