Talon Purchased green Talon r today

Was able to locate a talon r in miles city Montana today I’m leaving Kalispell tomorrow morning I’m heading back to Illinois to pick up a new enclosed trailer driving further on to Baltimore Maryland pick up a load of rental equipment there heading back to Miles city and then coming back to Kalispell Montana with my new talon r we don’t pay taxes in Montana total cost out the door 20,700 a little bit below list no freight no set up it has 5 miles on it and all the nubbins are still on the tire They check to see if there was recalls on this concerning the roll cage and there was not

Thanks I did Honda financing 3.9% 3 years I will use this for Business But I will probably have to go out and test it several thousand miles to make sure it’s going to hold up for business use . Will try to do 4900 mills in five days

I have a 2014 wildcat that has 1700 miles on it. I bought it used in 2014 with 1400 miles on it. Guess I don’t ride enough

Well I managed to do 1135 miles today going to sleep for five hours and get up and do it again tomorrow I’m not driving 4900 miles just to get the talon is basically a work trip the talon is the final stop

A lot of back roads , well the 5100 mile drive is complete did it in 2 hrs short of 5 days . Have 50 miles on the r . It soaks up the big stuff fine but the small stuff is a bit harsh, rear needs more rebound comtrol for sure. Fit and finish is good ,installed poly front with vents, Honda did a Excellent job of making the rubber gaskets and seals fit extremely well the quality of the front windshield is quite nice I also purchased the back poly windshield versus the cloth windshield the fit and finish again is very good in all connecting points, winch install was simple and easy to do i used the stock bumper it works just fine don’t know why you would have to have an aftermarket bumper as someone else mentioned though when putting the wires on the distribution block put the yellow and blue one On first doing the Black and red first will make things difficult there’s also a red wire in the battery box that has to have tape cleaned off of it and installed to the top post that is readily available to except the wire. If you were doing winch install and windshield at the same time do your winch first or you will be removing your windshield you have to remove some bezels underneath the hood to do the winch installed, When installing the winch you will also have to remove the glove box do not put the glove box back in until you have taken the wire off the back of the 12 V accessory port The wiring harness needs to be attached to the accessory port and the stock plug in the main harness. Also purchased the center bag the corner roof bags the bags are nice quality is excellent zippers on them also purchased lower door panels in lower door panel bags but there was no lower door panels in so I did not get that part finished

Cheap o off eBay slim style but they last for years this was 38 inch I like to sodder them into my highbeam wire, it makes for a better cleaner install without other switches

What did you use for brackets ? I just installed a curved 42 last night that actually measures 43 from Amazon and ended up with Polaris brackets and fits perfect with the glass windshield .

I used a couple stainless L brackets with blacked out stainless screws bolt right to the rain gutter, doesn’t move a bit
