Quick update on donations collection %.
I chose this website because it was "fee free". Well. Come to find out the "website" is. But their "credit card processor" is not. Looks like around 3.20% is being taken for this.
Still. Worth the cause!

Sad to hear he's gone. My fellow Samsquinch hunter. I was supposed to have met him recently on my last western excursion but him and the wife were ill. They will continue to be in my prayers. At least he'll get to learn the truth about Squatch before me...

Recall being “Tagged” and the Petrified rock he sent, and thanked him on how my family liked it... keep it in my box of unique things . His reply and signature line says much. R.I.P. Brother Rocmar... “Where Eagles and Angles... Dare to Fly

Think his name should be first on the 2019 Takeover shirt.

Never got the chance to meet him but seemed like a cool dude. We shared a love of working on our machines. Prayers for family and friends during this time.

If any of y'all were considering attending Rocky's viewing Saturday, I just heard that his wife, Mary, will be there - if that helps anyone decide. She and Rocky shared in everything so even if you never saw her on the forum, rest assured, she knows all of us and all of the shenanigans we and Rocky pulled on each other. She may have even instigated some of those shenanigans herself, lol.

Thanks to all who are finding a way to contribute to the Family Support Fund. I know it will mean a lot to Mary.

Wow! Bad news for today. I rode the high trails with that man once in New Mexico. One wild dude right there, very much on top of life. He has a very sweet wife that will miss him I’m sure.
RIP Rocky!!!!!!

This was a shocker...as it was to everyone. Ironically, I had been thinking about Roc these past few days. I had been reading up on some old 500 threads, and as usual, Rocmar was always ready to help and comment. Someone ask him about his tires and how they did in mud, to which he replied that he didn't care...he was a "desert guy".

I couldn't help but chuckle and think about how much we seemed to be very alike in some ways. And that I should go ride with him, should I ever make it back out west. Based on my observations, he loved the desert, and he loved riding. Combining them both was surely heaven on earth.

So if you want to know what Roc is doing right now...

Out riding....where angels DO fly...
...and the trails never end.....
...thats how he rolls....he he

Rest in peace, my friend.

What a shame. I sure hope everyone can donate $20+ to our fallen brother, I'm sure it will mean alot at this time to his wife. Maybe more than we will ever know.
Go fly high on that mountain @rocmar , your work here is done......
