Get yourself an Eibach sway bar and never have a problem like that again. They are adjustable and the price is decent. I run one on my racecar and have zero complaints or issues with it.

Alot of performance sway bars are hollow. Being solid doesn't automatically mean ultimate strength.

The fact it sheared off, plus the fact it’s hollow, does mean that it’s chintzy though.

I had assumed they were solid.

Good to know that they are hollow, I actually upgraded my few weeks ago, pricey but changed the car completely. Its a torsion rear sway bar with 5 adjustments this thing is heavy and solid. It's from Double e racing. The cool thing is that the more body roll you throw at it the stiffer it gets, I do rallycloss so far has improved my times drastically.

Be aware that those are well known to break. I was going to buy one for my Talon but after seeing and hearing about so many snapping off at the necked down area of the bar I decided to go with Eibach. It would suck to lose a race because the bar snapped and the arm and remaining piece of the bar took out your tire or possibly your suspension if it gets jammed up in the wrong place.

I actually haven't heard or seen that at all, this thing is solid and very heavy, most brands are hollow

A little stiffer sway might be in order. or designing one for the front...
Go with the Eibach sway bar. Huge improvement over stock and it is adjustable so you can fine tune it for your riding style.

Front sway bars have been tried on the Talon under racing conditions and they suck. It completely screws up turn in and makes the car handle funny. None of the cars or teams including the Pro's (Honda, Yamaha, Polaris and Can- AM) at the track run front sway bars for this reason. Weight transfer is key to turning hard on loose surfaces. Sway bars prevent that from happening.

My car with an Eibach rear bar set to the middle position...

Tire pressures? No reply necessary if it's a tuning secret.
