P1000 Reset maintenance minder

Changed oil and filters two weeks ago had 100 miles on my 2016 1000-5. Reset maintenance minder when done and wrench on dash went away. Now I have number 1 with wrench so checked owners manual and pushed and held reset button and turned on ignition switch then I get wrench 2. Do it again and wrench 1 appears can someone tell me what I am doing wrong I put on 27 miles since doing the oil change and filters.

I thought the display showed the wrench when the first service was due and then an alternating '1' or '2' for each subsequent service interval?

What were the hours when you performed service at 100 miles and what are the hours now?

Don't get confused with the display option that showed miles till next service.
It will show the wrench with miles till u r due.

This has confused many.

Yes I am sorry you are right it shows 600 miles which should be when second service is due.

How do you reset the first service code? I cant find it in manual or online 2018 1000 LE.
