The switch plate is cool. I'm a little worried that it's full. There's a good chance I'll add a cooling fan override, turn signals and a horn some day but I'll find a spot for them
I hooked up a quad boss 3.5" flood light to my reverse switched power on my 1000-5. The light is mounted in the center of the body under the tailgate. I used a nutsert and single bolt of mounting the light. For anybody looking to do this it's easy with the reverse light harness from the p700. The harness is 08Z02-HL3-A00 from Honda. It hooks up to the green connector under the rear passenger floor on the backside of the engine. As wired the light comes on whenever the Pioneer is in reverse and the key is on. I like m6 nutserts. I keep a pile of these on hand. They are on my lights, skid plate, fuse box, dash pabels

I've been really happy with these m6 fasteners. 8mm hex head with a nice flange and dirt cheap
I bought the harness and just clipped the extra wires off and only used the 2 out of the reverse light plug. It's a splitter for other accessories. In the case of mine I added a switched ground to my dash and needed a diode to prevent a back feed to the reverse ground signal. The Honda harness for me was just a convenient way to get the pins and plug that fits the OEM reverse output.
