Picked up a few packages from USPS this morning.
View attachment 60614

And UPS left a couple more packages on the front porch tonight so I’ll open those and get them installed tomorrow.

Still waiting on my shocks, exhaust, and tires...

Sounds like a great story....................

I TOTALLY understand wanting to 'personalize' a vehicle to suit your needs, we all do this. But I just SMH at some of this stuff, esp attempting to make it 'street legal', since I intentionally bought an OFF ROAD vehicle. Not attempting to get anyone PO'd, just SMH and LOL.

Yeah not everyone has the same tastes but in some states you really need a tag to get from one trail system to the other without trailering. And some guys enjoy going to Sonic on a warm summer evening or riding the winding mountain roads in the fall.

I wish Alabama would allow them on the road! But I do understand what your talking about. I shake my head at the guys that go in 5 foot of water over the dash intentionally but they enjoy it so that’s all that matters.

Mine is street legal now. Even has custom tags on it. I drive it around my surveys plowing snow. Cops don't bother me anymore.

I wish there was a way to be legal on the street here... to get from trail to trail and hell even take to the grocery store every once and awhile... but I live in a small town area.

I live in rural AL, and have the OK of my county sheriff, but doesn’t mean a cop can’t be having a bad day and want to make someone else have one too.

I have several friends nearby that have large parcels of land.

Also makes it easier when we ride elsewhere TN or FL to get from point to point.

Street legal for day to day transportation is ridiculous, but so is trailering it for less than 5280 feet

Got me a bigger recovery gear bag from Amazon.

It easily holds 4 D-rings, 2 snatch blocks, mini compressor, CO2 kit, folding shovel, limb saw, 3 tree saver straps, a couple of soft shackles and there’s still plenty of room.

The bag has straps that adjust to fit ROPS bars, so far the idea is to strap it to the rear passenger grab handles.

Got the rear winch mount ready just gotta get the exhaust on so I can make sure I don’t need any adjustments before I clean it up and paint it.

I’ve heard nothing but good reviews for brake pedal firmness after install and being braided they should hold up better against sticks and short brush.

I haven’t bled the system yet but I hope to continue with a good review.

PM him, he was responsive when I messaged him. They would’ve been here sooner but USPS won’t deliver packages to our house. I have to drive into town to pick them up. Between 8-4 M-F (grumbles angrily about postal workers)

Nice find on the bag I like that...

I wanted to free up the slam full “glove box” for stuff I could access while driving that could stay mostly clean and dry. Something more accessible than under the seat, but didn’t want to ratchet strap a box down every time I rode or have to raise the rear seat back to get to something in the rear passenger floorboard.

Feel free to steal my ideas/accessories and make them suit you. I’ve stolen a lot of ideas from other members for my second build, either exactly or changed a few details to suit me, and the main why I post everything I add is so people can re-steal the ideas.
