Yeah we have to pick our mail up at post office .... USPS has strayed from “the mail must go though” to “you can come get it if you want it” for rural delivery.

So I wait until there’s 50lbs of junk mail I can leave on the counter.

Got a little bit of playing done today. Been snowing somewhat heavy since 5am and even with all the melt, we got about 6-7” of wet snow accumulation, doors and a windshield with a wiper was NICE! Need a defrost though.

Haha nope she's still naked in the back of the dealership.

40" Light bar and mounts
Battery ISO
HAM radio
2gauge cable
Additional switches and rockets from OTRATTW.
Front camera (why not it was $10 on Amazon)
UHMW material to make a skid.

SuperATV lift and Arched arms are on back order.

Tires can't be done till those parts get installed.
lolz 2 gauge wire. Where you gonna put the inverter for the fridge and induction cooktop?

My 4500lb winch draws almost 300amps at first layer full pull (some draw even more, but mine is somewhat efficient) That’ll quickly over tax a 6ga wire, with 2ga I get better draw from battery to winch and can sustain pull strength longer, hopefully as long as the battery will supply the power which at near 300amps is still long enough to start heating a 2ga up, which is why I also have a 300amp breaker at the battery in case it gets too hot, melts the insulation, and grounds out.

Here’s the Warn for reference

I did not use this specification, I used the one for my winch, before I chose 2ga but here is blueseas calculator results using Warns specified draw.

I try to make sure what I’m doing to mine isn’t based on someone else’s bottom line and profit margin. While you can apparently use 6ga wire for it, it’s not going to give you the best performance or safety margin.

Had some free time to mess around for a bit.

Shifted my Optima back to make room for a 50cal ammo can full of tools.

None of the wires were the right length and I needed 2 more circuits 20&30 amp for the WetSounds bar & Sub so I put a 100amp fuse block in on the seat support rail. Connected my Aux output relay (70a top right mounted on seat support rail) to the new fuse block.

I moved my tools from the “Fat50” ammo can I was using to a standard 50cal I REALLY wanted the Fat50 to fit but it just barely won’t make it in.

Now all my tools and tire kit are under the seat instead of straped in the bed and I always have them with me.

Padded the ECU just Incase but the can doesn’t move around that much when it’s strapped down.

I have a free day and nothing has shown up yet so I figured I’d get everything to a point that as soon as it shows up I can get the install knocked out in record time.

Got the power cables made up for the rear winch.

So as soon as the winch and HMF are in and on, I can just hook the power cables up and tie them down.
Just need to get the winch mount made and I’ll have it installed.

Shifted my switches around for the WetSounds Bluetooth controller and prepped the wiring under the dash.

Fed a AUX cable under the floor with the winch controller wire.

Went over to my good buddy @joeymt33 with the intentions of welding up a rear winch mount but I had bought some weld/bolt on shackles so we ended up welding them up too.

He’s got that fancy powder coat kit so we hit it with that while we worked on the rear winch.

Look dang good to me thanks Joey.

What is this fancy powder coat kit that you speak of?

It’s a craftsman that was discontinued and they marked it down to $60. Had about 10 years and use it some. It’s actually quicker than paint so I should use it more often. No dry time, just cool time.

Here’s a close up of the “wrinkle black” paint. We chose gloss black to match the bumper but apparently I labeled it wrong. Still turned out good though.

There’s a couple kits by Eastmwood I’ve been giving the hairy eyeball, I’m going to wait till I can find a cheap craigslist oven before I spend any money on the kit though.

Just don’t get one as cheap as mine. It’s the cheapest possible but still working.

Picked up a few packages from USPS this morning.

And UPS left a couple more packages on the front porch tonight so I’ll open those and get them installed tomorrow.

Still waiting on my shocks, exhaust, and tires...
