lolz 2 gauge wire. Where you gonna put the inverter for the fridge and induction cooktop?
My 4500lb winch draws almost 300amps at first layer full pull (some draw even more, but mine is somewhat efficient) That’ll quickly over tax a 6ga wire, with 2ga I get better draw from battery to winch and can sustain pull strength longer, hopefully as long as the battery will supply the power which at near 300amps is still long enough to start heating a 2ga up, which is why I also have a 300amp breaker at the battery in case it gets too hot, melts the insulation, and grounds out.

I did not use this specification, I used the one for my winch, before I chose 2ga but here is blueseas calculator results using Warns specified draw.
I try to make sure what I’m doing to mine isn’t based on someone else’s bottom line and profit margin. While you can apparently use 6ga wire for it, it’s not going to give you the best performance or safety margin.
