You got to show me how you're getting 75 miles outta 7 watts!
If I hit a repeater tower, then yeah. But Simplex, I barely get 2 miles on 8 watts. So I'm intrigued :)

Me too. Same type radio more power I even tried 75w with matching antennae let that go and I can't what's your secret??? Our max was about 20 what did you figure out??? Spill it please lol

I checked this morning and as soon as it came on I realized, had it set to TX on a repeater freq I normally just monitor.

D.A.

BUT I have gotten 100 miles out of same setup on my truck. It was pair of rigs general I work with gave me. Skip maybe? Geologic? We sit on a lot of iron ore. No idea, he's had same thing happen often as he drives around the state.

Just read about this device, this thing is pretty sweet. I may have to rethink my accessory electrical system.

Much cleaner install no fuses to carry(other than for relays for Lightbar and wiper)

Time delayed off, time delayed start, ignition trigger, ground trigger(I use it for a backup light triggered of reverse pigtail under rear floorboard)

I was going to need $250 in relays and fuseblocks, more real estate, and a lot more time wiring. For me seemed better way to go.

She looks strikingly familiar! Lol..

Haha I liked some of his ideas, he's not the only one I copied.

I let everyone else spend time and money this go round, figuring out what worked the way I need/want. Way cheaper than being a "Pioneer" pun intended.

She's going to look even more familiar when the 30's , Arched arms, and mudbusters get installed.

Yup.. I still find myself overthinking crap!
If there was corn in it you had corn the night before if it's runny you're sick or had too good a night of drinking. That's about all you need to consider.

Itching to ride, internal combustion is an addictive drug. Itching more for a-arms and tires.

Saw that need new blades, for everything. Been busy building here lately. 2nd rivet is a good idea.

Are those riveted to the rops or just the roof?

Just the plastic roof. I'm thinking about ordering some more for my fathers and then putting a second strip on mine.

You think it needs it? For stability? Maybe wider so if the machine shifts up or down there will be more of a shearing force on the rivets instead of a tension force? Seems like if the lower/upper edge catches it might try to pull the rivets out.
