Thanks

That was at 5, in the middle the woods, it motivated me to remove the cab. Wife said her car said 94 when she left school @3. Low humidity today too, only 44%.

Spring was in January/February, Summers here already.

Side note that glass windshield is a heavy sucker with the motor on it almost right at 45lbs.

Reworked the switch plate to add the second voltmeter. Top for the primary, bottom for the secondary battery.

Moved the backup light to a more substantial location, it flopped around too much mounted to the roof even as light as it was.

The TSC Lightbar mounts are really solid.

Looking good.

Got all the vents snorkeled last night, and we got heavy rains all night and all morning, with more to come. The creeks by the house were flowing figured I'd see what the big creek was doing.

Near got my butt wet, cold water. Almost over the factory tires in some places.

Lots of trash in the water

It's a creek that's about 2' above the banks.

I had a LOT of leaf litter that collected, took me about 30 mins after I let it sit and drip dry to get it all out. Probably would've gone up like a popo if I hadn't. Seat had to come off to get to some of it, last time I'll do that.

It's about 5-6' above the level in this picture.

Driving through huge water areas that are flooded always freak me out. Worried there will be a hole or a ditch or something that's extra deep and then bye bye Honda... don't have a ton of cash sitting around to rebuild the electrical or engine... it looks fun but unless I knew that area like the back of my hand and was 100% I wouldn't sink it I would just stay on dry land. Yeah well it's my trails, I have about 2 miles cut so far, they don't wash and are fairly hard, even when the creeks out of its banks which is often. Right at the end of the second vid the current started to push me toward the creek. So that was probably my last trip through it when waters up that high.

Are you sure that your snorkel is high enough?

What I've been told is, axle, drive shaft seals are designed to keep oil in. When you come to a deep water crossing and been running hard, I let things cool down for 3 beers, cause with diffs hot/ transmission when you run off into deep water, with things are hot, it cools off and acts like a vacuum for water, also shrinks shaft diameters faster than seals can react. I always check ALL oils after riding in deep water. Yea I have learned the hard way.

The 3 beers part sounds solid.
But, hot diff + cold water = air in the diff contracts and it suck some air in the vent.
As long as the vent is above the water level it's all good (I think the manual says max water depth is 10" or 6" or maybe 2" can't remember).
