You think it needs it? For stability? Maybe wider so if the machine shifts up or down there will be more of a shearing force on the rivets instead of a tension force? Seems like if the lower/upper edge catches it might try to pull the rivets out.

Yeah, that's a good idea. A piece that's twice as wide or more.

Judging by the directions of the scrapes these take in that might be good

Doors are on, fitment is not very good there's a gap between the front of the door and the A-pillar you could drive a 500 through... not happy about that. The fabric could have been an inch extra or there could have been plastic fillers like there were on the 700. The Velcro loop at the top of the door on the inside remains to be seen as to how much benefit it will give.

I supposeit will be a lot better than nothing, definitely keep the majority of the cold wind, rain, and snow off this weekend. Those conditions are all I bought them for anyway.
Might consider a heater next year depending on just how much cold air gets through. I prefer t-shirts to parkas.

That's just terrible for what you pay. Really? You would think they could do better than that for the price.

Actually, there are some custom jobs on the forum that are better.

It just sucks because I'd be a buyer but not for the Honda version.

It is unacceptable fitment for the price considering the build quality seems to be the same as the 700 doors. Which held up really well. They just don't fit very well and that's something that is an easy fix considering the gap is not all that large.

I don't like low bid for this reason. I'll bet Honda has their accessories made by a third party, just like Chevy. Rand McNally GPS is the worst GPS manufacturer, they are the GPS in the Chevys. Mine takes the scenic route every time, 2 states east to go 1 state south. Yes I know GA is the only state east of me, BUT IT DOESN'T!

The Velcro does help, and I think it will keep the doors pulled in at 40-50 on roads.

I stood on my soapbox now I've stepped down. I was simply sharing my disappointment in the fitment and sharing with others so they can make an informed purchase. They mount much better than the 700, they were floppy. I think they will accomplish what I wanted them for, for the most part. Do wish the fit better for the price.

A nutsert tool is VERY beneficial for install. The bolt and nut method will work but it doesn't make for a very good compression on the nutsert.

If I had bought an enclosed trailer wouldn't be a problem. That's what I did on my 700. With the same results wear on the clear plastic.

I was going to but now not so sure. Was going to mainly to keep mud and everything off the kids when they are in the back.

I think ⅛ HDPE would be better, installed like on the 700 doors. Less prone to releasing when dirty or wet. I'll prob pick up some ⅛ and make a gap cap like on the 700. It will be an easy fix, just seems like a cleaner fix before it gets to me.

I'm a stickler for the details. BUT I didn't build everything and make everything fit perfectly this go round. I spent LOTS of time doing that on my 700. I wanted my time spent with family, instead of in garage, my kids will only be kids once.

Had to swap out light bar clamps, the ones I got from Amazon just wouldn't work.

Angle was to far off.

Picked up some Traveler Clamps at TSC and cut the upright off at an angle that was level with horizontal. Then tapped it and mounted the Lightbar to that. MUCH more solid mount.

Decided to go with the Blackwater Evos 30x10x14 BECAUSE they are only 28.5 at @10psi. After riding it a couple hundred miles, I like the power and favor less stress on the drivetrain. No lift, just arched arms to get 3" extra wheel base and a bit more clearance.

After seeing the damage sticks are inflicting, I am not going to carry my girls around in it till I feel they are better protected.

E45d4025874be9413aa02291de5201c1 @Windrock1000 parked here with his that had the sway bar disconnect, ArchedA-arms, and Fox Shocks, since mine was Stock and he has the setup I want I figured I would compare. His sits a bit more level but I think I am going to leave mine on for stability on off-camber trails. The dang thing is a mountain goat, I was thoroughly impressed.

Way more stability than my top heavy 700, I think for me keeping all the accessory weight lower made a YUGE difference in stability.

Got her cleaned up, only took 2.5 hours yesterday.

The last trail we took was the creek in trail 11 and it was swollen from all the rain they had. I don't THINK it was deep enough to get into the diff vents but I am going to check the oil and probably change it just to give myself the warm and fuzzies.

I'm going to use the factory suggested oil and viscosity.
Won't hurt to get the break in material out of the diffs either.

I checked the shifter box and it was dry so I'm not really worried, but for my piece of mind going to do it anyway.

Surface Mount D-Ring, I used them for tie down points and to pull @Hondasxs out and it did not deform the bumper, I have a piece of 5/16 thick flat bar behind it to hopefully prevent that.

Spring sprang, it was 89 today so I took the cab off, took me @15mins and summer mode engaged. The cubes made getting the windshield off a bit difficult but it was still doable by releasing the clamps on the front of the roof to get a bit more wiggle room.

Checked all the fluids, everything was clean and full, after 130miles the oil was golden honey colored. Air cleaner had a little bit of dust but 100+ miles of being behind 1-3 others you'd assume there'd be some.

Let her warm up till 2 bars were showing then went for some riding around our trails. Then I opened her up, some 4WD power sliding and more spirited driving. Never needed the bilge fan, heat was less than 40degrees and full cab.

Most definitely going to buy a bugbuster or make my own. I can see a spider to the face at 40mph causing an issue.
