So my friend gave me some RGB led rock lights from Amazon but the blue has gone out and thats why he never installed them. I was wondering what's a good brand of rock lights that isn't to expensive?
I got some truck bed LEDs from Tractor Supply that were around $12 for 8 of them. Not super bright but they do the job. I never got around to hooking up the rears but the price was right. I put 2 on each side up front and I've still got 4 sitting in a box. I honestly think you'd have money better spent on some B-pillar pods that shine forward/rearward than rock lights. So my friend gave me some RGB led rock lights from Amazon but the blue has gone out and thats why he never installed them. Ah, I added mine hoping they'd add a bit of light at the wheels for navigating tricky rock sections. They weren't bright enough nor did I use them enough to warrant running the wire to hook up the rears. That's a good idea. I'm using them more for looks than anything. I mounted the ones he gave me they only have red green and yellow since the blue don't work

I used 8 for rock, 4 for dome (1000-5), 1 shining on floor, 1 in glove box, 2 in grill.
I had all read thinking it would be great for the vision but I was wrong can see anything on trails at night and when I was using paper maps the lines all looked the same color.
I have them mounted where the will light up fender wells to be able to see in case of a repair.
the grill was just two leftover reds For kicks and giggles.

This video is pure gold. A lot of those probably came with a significant hospital bill, especially @ 3:44 when you can see the guy get ejected as it's rolling.Go to 3:30 and check out the rock light durability testing.
