I just finished reading 16 pages of comments. What an awesome trip! I love how this site is like a family. I hope some day to go out with you guys. I am not prepared. I have a lot of upgrades to even consider it. My biggest fear would be breaking something and not being able to get back to truck/trailer. I'm amazed after looking at list of issues that you all made it back. Kudos to you all!
Not everyone breaks things and there are people who are always there to help, I swear part of them like that over the riding. Skid plate is your friend though! RRB is well worth coming to for anyone of any riding style and that's only 7 months away. Get a skid plate and show up!

Nah @kodiakkalem was on an ATV you can make it in a 500.

I would still be ready to flip the P500 back on its wheels often. I'm at 68" wide and it's pretty tipsy on widow maker.

That ATV has a much lower COG and Kalem is a great pilot!

I am not lowering the difficulty or his riding ability, just saying a narrow short wheelbase machine with limited wheel travel CAN make it.
It's the height that's going to be tricky! Really tippy up dragons and down widow. Quad would be much easier, I'd be nervous on a 500. Have to be really careful is all

I didn't feel that tippy except in a couple of spots, I think maybe the weight you have in that speaker and the extra suspension lift hurt you even with the wider stance?
