Is it fatal?
I don't think it is fatal either. He mentioned he may go thru insurance. I would bet it is a write off if he pursues that path.I was with him when it happened. With a little fab should b good to go unless he wants to take it further

Insurance wrote me a check for $5800 to have mine fixed when I ripped the tabs. They said my turd was worth 19k and wouldn't total it.I don't think it is fatal either. He mentioned he may go thru insurance. I would bet it is a write off if he pursues that path.

same, $5600 for mine and he said the book on it was $23k....Insurance wrote me a check for $5800 to have mine fixed when I ripped the tabs. They said my turd was worth 19k and wouldn't total it.
Cut a check and own your way. I couldn’t believe they would do that but they did. I still have full coverage on it.Do they want to issue a salvage title? Or cut a check and send you on your way?
The estimate includes a whole new frame. Honda guy that did the estimate, said they probably couldn't get a frame for a year or longer.Definitely a chunk of change to fix the upper mounts.
I agree. But part of me would have fun building a machine from the frame up. We know where all the weak points are now. Easy to set up jigs on a brand new frame. The estimate includes a whole new frame. Honda guy that did the estimate, said they probably couldn't get a frame for a year or longer.
I wouldn't want a machine that had everything removed and put on another frame. I bet it would be a nightmare rig after that.
The best part of jumping from my 16 to my 18 was fixing it before everything was dirty and bent.I agree. But part of me would have fun building a machine from the frame up. We know where all the weak points are now. Easy to set up jigs on a brand new frame.
No update yet, I’ve been playing catch-up since I got back. I’m debating turning it into insurance but the odd chance that they might total it is making me consider fixing it and moving on. I talked to another member that had progressive which is what I have and they dropped him after his claim for the same issue.Any update on Trifecta's injuries?

It will be BA whatever u decide to do with the rig. We have some really good mutual friendsNo update yet, I’ve been playing catch-up since I got back. Ditto, although mine is associated with USAA so maybe that is different 🤷♂️Well phuck......I'll be following on what you decide cause I have progressive too.
I could easily fix Trifecta, it only tore the front. It’s as simple as lining it up and tacking it in place so I can grind some of the old weld out and then lay a few good beads on it. I would then reinforce it with some braces. It will be BA whatever u decide to do with the rig. We have some really good mutual friends
Not that it matters, I have Markel Ins they specialize in motorsports. Had them since my last Poo Poo in 08’. Theyve been great. I havent had to make a claim yet. But my buddy had on an Arctic Crap with a slightly bent cage that they totaled a few yrs ago. They didnt raise his ins nor did they drop him. So If u get dropped or want to change in the future, Id suggest looking into them.
X3 but Lisa won't let me turn s*** in on it.Well phuck......I'll be following on what you decide cause I have progressive too.
