Finally got the mofo home today, blue is slowly growing on me. I've got a lot of plans for it - locker and EPS in a few weeks and more along the way. Kinda makes me a little sick to start tearing into it 🤣. Will update as I go. Thanks for everyone's help and advice so far, this a great place.

P.s. Red is the fastest, green is the toughest, but blue is the most badass 🤣

Most of the time was spent fiddle f***ing with pins and screws. Should have taken about an hour with most of the time spent taking the panels off....

I feel your pain. I stripped/rounded one or two myself. Before rounding them completely, a friend had an impact driver that loosened them. Impact driver is the answer. I replaced those, plus bought two extra. They are expensive little screws. Must be gold filled. Where did you get replacement...

Lol, I can have my plastics out in minutes. It'll be a lot easier now that you've done it once. Having the right tools helps too.

🤣 ya once the GreenGoat got me on track, it was like a lightbulb moment haha. I'm slowly putting together a "pioneer toolbox" to help with that also. If you have any tools or sizes off of the top of your head, I'll add them to my list. I took the door nets off yesterday, but forgot the size of the bolts. I'll have to make a note. So far #3 phillips and extra pins are on the way...

10mm sockets and wrenches, lots of those on there. Also saw where someone posted 6mm pushpins, I thought the push pins were 8mm. IDK, I ordered a bag of 100 a long time ago but something you'll want to verify. A panel tool for those pushpins if you don't have one.

Plugs into the cig lighter circuit.

It plugs in where you have it. I taped the connection up good on mine after I plugged it in. Also you may want to zip-tie it to the other wires so it isn’t hanging down.

Back to rookie questions...this time on wiring. I've kinda got 7 or so accessories/switches I want to work with. I'm not positive on how to wire the accessory to the switch and back down to the fuse block, but I'm a pretty visual dude, so wondering if you guys can critique my sketch? I'm not sure if I'm missing anything here...would like to have the rear winch/tiger tail removable and also plan on tying in a rear license plate light directly into the rear taillights. Any advice/ideas/guidance/do's or don'ts or telling me I'm a dumbass...all ears 🤣 Thanks guys

All your accessories need to be grounded. You can do this by either tapping a wire into the metal frame, wherein the frame acts as the return wire, or you can run a physical wire back to either the negative battery terminal, or your fuse block, so long as the fuse block is also grounded to either the battery or the frame. You have to create a loop of electricity or it won't 'flow'.

Same goes for switches. If the switches have a backlight, then you need to wire them as an accessory as well. The switch backlight will also need power and grounding.

@The Green Goat thanks a lot man that helps for sure. Is there a "ground block" that I could just attach to the frame somewhere and run all of my grounds to that so they are all in one place? And just want to make sure I'm understanding - I run one negative wire from the fuse block to battery and a second negative wire from the fuse block to the "ground block"? I didn't even think about power/ground for the switchlights. Maybe I should just stick to non-backlit switches for the simplicity (14 more wires for just the backlights on the switches?) Thanks again for you help! I just wanna do this right the first time...

There are bus bars/distribution blocks out there of all flavors and variations. I got mine on Amazon. You could choose to run them all to one central location, or tap into the nearest frame bolt if you'd prefer.

You could also get by with only 2 wires (+/-) for the switches if you daisy chain them together.

Finally getting this thing put together. Got the UTV801 windshield installed - great guy to work with and fastest shipping of everything I've ordered so far. ATV/UTV Tek side mirrors and a cheap electronic horn that surprisingly works well and is loud.

The HTRs all finally arrived, ordered 4 from Dennis Kirk, but was notified one was backordered. Had to pick up another front from Lionparts, since most places are sold out or way more expensive. 27x9x12 on the front and 27x11x12 on the back. Supposed to be about 60 days until the rims arrive, so they will be chilling in the garage for a while.
