Here's a little better picture of the bracket. Without it the shock would not mount in the factory spot. It put the cv shafts in to much of a bind.

I think I'm going to change gears for now and go in a different direction. I need to fix my suspension geometry by removing the HL lift and I'll save my coins for a shock upgrade for the P1000. That would be money better spent IMO.

I'm waiting to see what the 1000 shocks are like. If they are good i might just get them and put on my 700 if they fit. One guy on the facebook page used front can am comander shocks he said it added about 1.5" lift to front. Think it was 2011 year model.

I finally quit playing around and bought some rzr 900 rear shocks. Thank you guys for the info on this thread. Here is some pics. No CV binding at full droop and I've achieved lift for 28" tires with out rubbing.

Sweet! Good buy with some simple fabricated brackets. I caved and ordered the WE Monotubes all around and now just impatiently waiting for them :mad::D

Mine have become a nightmare. Its taken over 2 weeks to get them and when they arrived they set the rears up wrong and forgot the spring spacers to clear the arms and axles in the rear :mad::mad:. I called WE and spoke with a guy named Chris who helped me out and knew right away what the issue was and ill get the missing stuff today, as for the fronts they fell right in and look sweet!!! :D:D:D

Update.... since I installed the fox podiums on the front off my 700 I found out that I need to install limiting straps. It extends to much and puts the axles in a bind
