Did you see this? I have no idea about it’s durability.

It's too cheap to not be China-made as well.

When mine gets worse, I’ll probably just do the BBK’s. They have a thicker flange that bolts to the head, don’t have to change any other exhaust, and just tie up heater hoses away from heat.

@Hondasxs did you see these? Redesigned and have a warranty.
Oh. I like that.
Redesign to remove those double bolts is good.

I see. On the Ford modular motors in the day it was corrosion related…at least up north. You could look at the stud the wrong way and it would fall off.
When I was at the ford dealer we had trouble with 351’s and 460’s warping manifolds. When the manifold warps enough it pops the bolt.

How about a good bolt with threaded bolt hole in them you can always make your own studs.Dont do the belt sander if at all possible they lie by looks.A mill wont lie.And dont cut a real warped manifold because your holes will be off and the worst part the bolt end will be crooked to the flat surface.

I agree with that advice above. @Hondasxs I didn't want to belabor the point if your mind was made up about using a belt sander but I believe it would be a mistake. It would be difficult to hold the manifold exactly parallel to the manifold surface. You could end up removing metal from the wrong area(s).

I would have the surface milled by a machine shop or engine builder. It shouldn't cost much and will give you a true mating surface. If the manifold is warped enough to infringe on the end bolt holes you'll be better off to replace it.

I ordered the header from the link 3 post above. I think that is the solution I was hunting.
With that... I can get some ARP bolts.

I don't have any personal experience with Thorobred Diesel but I know they've been around for many years.

That looks like a wise choice. New manifold(s), gaskets, and fasteners and a warranty.

Personally I believe that bossmans truck would be so much better sounding and looking with these. Preferably up through the hood imo.😈

Are you going to install these or get someone else to do it? It looks like the bolts are extra long and have spacers that slide onto the bolt to help with thermal expansion.
