Seat Heaters forTalon

Just wondering if any of you guys who live in the northern part of the United States and aren’t blessed with temperatures that stay above 40 degrees year round, have installed seat heaters? I’m toying with the idea since I really don’t want the hassle of installing a heater and side curtains. My first question is “ How we’ll do they work “. Second question is did you have to install a second battery if you are installing more that one heating unit? I have a Talon 1000x-4. Finally, was this install something that a novice can do or do you recommend having a dealer do it.

Any insight you guys can pass along would be most helpful.
