The 2018 has a upgraded seat with extra padding. I think @CumminsPusher added some kind of gel pad in his.

They added extra padding to the 2017 seat on the pioneer its the same seat on the 2018 model

Yes. Used 3/4 gel and seatcovers. It’s very comfortable like that
