P1000 Service Tech w/ some advice

Hi guys, some background first, I am a 8 year service tech for the only level 5 powerhouse dealer in the state of KY. I've seen a lot of units come and go through my dealership. Starting out as a set-up tech, I learned to check everything on any new unit we received. even the simplest of things. Stuff you wouldn't think could get messed up or left off does.
My point is before you take delivery of your new Pioneer (or any unit for that matter), have a good once over with someone. I'm only saying this because I don't want you to be disappointed with your decision on buying what I consider to be the best SXS on the market.
For instance we got our first CAMO deluxe in today and it's missing the pre-filter for the snorkel, something obvious, right?
Hope everyone has a great Holiday and an awesome New Years.

If you are interested in purchasing a Pioneer 1000, 700 or 500 we have several to choose from in inventory. Being a Level 5 Powerhouse dealer we can get anything you may want, (except Silver, LOL) Phone (606)-759-5000 We'd love to have your business.

Good point. I had several plastic rivets missing. One seat belt bolt loose and one brake line not bolted down.

Here's the pics.

On top of these things, I re-torqued the ROPS bolts, adjusted out all the door and bed latch rattles. I checked all drain plugs and checked all fluids.

Exactly what I'm talking about, simple stuff that shouldn't have made it past inspection. Always report this stuff back to yor dealer as well so they can pass it on to there DSM, who in turn will pass it on to he factory and assemblers.
Alot of the rops bolts are the assemblers who install the roll cage before they ship it to your dealership. Ours come from Chicago, after they leave S. Carolina and are hit and miss.

My bed squeaks bad, how can I adjust it? I've already had to adjust doors they don't rattle anymore.

If it really is the bed squeaking, then try adjusting the to latch adjusters to make the latch more secure. I've noticed on some if you shut the bed down from the drivers side the passengers side doesn't latch good or at all, which can also be fixed by adjusting the latch. Also check to make sure no rubber bumpers are missing and that the squeak isn't something else, like the top or muffler, Honda mufflers are notorious for squeaking and squealing, especially last generation Rubicons.

The seat backs float in the down position and rattle. You have to find a way to secure them on the side at the door or add more cargo. They don't rattle in the upright position though. If bed still rattles after the seats are up. See the latch adjustment post earlier. Have fun and enjoy.

If it is indeed the seats, try adjusting the plastic stop made into the doors, or the doors themselves. The little lip that bolts on the doors that stops the seats from coming up when closed is the one I'm referring to. Hope it helps.

Welcome to the club Honda Tech!
I wish I lived closer to you. My dealer up here in Northern MN is only able to bring a red one in every so often. I have a white one ordered for Spring and they keep saying they have no idea when one will come in. They have offered me twice to buy the red one and then buy the white plastic to change it over. Im holding out.

Good luck with getting any plastic as well, we've een trying to get orange for months. Are they a multi brand dealer, if so they'll be the last to get anything. Our shipments started out as 1 deluxe-5 red, then 9 more. Then 1 PS 3 red, 9 more. Then we got 5 white deluxe-5, then a non deluxe red 5 and we just got our Camo 5 in yesterday. Which we weren't suppose to have till after January. So hopefully silver is on its way soon.
