No tire rub at all, I think I gained 1 1/4” to 1 1-2” ground clearance. You can get nicer wheels on your budget I just couldn’t find any I really liked for the extra $$$. It handled and got around better as well.

Several guys run 27’s, I didn’t because I was worried about the extra weight. I want to be able to spin the tires fast enough to clean out and hook up. I’m sure someone else will chime in and tell you you will be fine to do so, I personally don’t know since I stopped at 26”. Also, I think most guys that go 27 do wheel spacers. You can go 26 without them and be just fine.

A true 27 will fit on the P5, any more than that will rub. Whether 26's or 27's, I would recommend some spacers or aftermarket wheels with an offset that will spread the stance a bit. These machines are tippy out of the gate and raising it just makes the issue worse. FWIW

I did 5+2, here’s a pic that shows how offset works.

This is the setup I had on my 500, it was a little under $700. 12” ITP steel wheels 5+2 offset with 26x9-12 Sedona mud rebel rt’s on all four corners.
I highly recommend this tire, it’s a go getter and it’s 8ply radial.

1" spacers will give you the added stability you need unless you start adding a bunch of weight up high. You may want to wait until you get the tires on so you can measure the track width front and back. Might require a little wider in rear to equal them out, if that's something that you're concerned with.

Sound advice.

I’m going to be putting 26” tires on mine soon enough. The set I’m looking at is a 5 and 2 offset. Anyone know what the stock wheel offset is.
I don’t remember off the top of my head but I think it’s pretty close to the 5+2.
