Multi Shots from the trail.

Did the Chiva Falls (east of Tucson) lower and upper loop today. I guess it could be called practice for the AZPT ride in October. 125 miles total with 20 miles on the two loops. Roughest terrain on the two loops I’ve ever been on. Kept hoping for a 100 yard stretch of straight sandy road (Continuous rocks and ledges). Unfortunately, only a trickle of water coming over the falls, but it was beautiful.

I remember going swimming up there many many years ago. Very sad this drought were in. Thanks for the memories.

Reportedly, there’s a pool up above. None of us were up for the hike.

Couple more weeks before I can ride the trails above my place. Got to check out a couple lakes. Road riding today. Great to get out.

1 more week and I think all the trails I ride will be open. Cool spring is making it later than normal. Rained all day but ice is off all of the mountain lakes.

So today I learned that June 4th is much too early to think about going for a ride above 10,000 feet.

Sure, I could bust through this section but experience has taught me it's only gonna get worse.
