This will be my first sxs and I’m looking at a 2016 Pioneer 3p non eps. It only has 140 miles on it bc the guy just uses it in his 10 acre lot/house. My question is, with all the recalls and issues i see, should i buy this machine ?? My budget is low and i can get this one for 9k. It has no roof or windshield. It’s looks brand new.

It’s a Pioneer 1000? That’s probably a fair price, it probably needs the air intake mod, cabin heat mod, clutch mod and muffler shield mod, you might look for that.

Not too shabby.
If its clean underneath it's a good buy.
Call your dealer and schedule all the recalls and updates. Have the clutch update done no matter there suggestions.

Air intake update will need to be paid for. Its $10 or so.
Clutch update.
Hear fix update.
Muffler recall.
Throttle body recall.
Check door handle and balancer recall.

What did I miss?

If all maintenance and updates have been performed as recommended I would say go for it!

Welcome from central Ohio.

If you have a good dealer to take care of the issues above, you should buy it. If you are concerned about buying one because those "product improvement campaigns" exist, relax. The majority of those are either assembly issues or "bullet proofing" a great machine. Just make sure you post some pictures and put a lot more miles on it than the original owner.

It’s had all recalls done except the newest one - Throttle body. Can i still run it with out the recall? Until i can bring it in?

Yes, if you search on here you'll find the throttle body recall is just making sure they are seated and clamps tightened correctly. It pays the honda tech 15 minutes to check, I believe. You can pop the plastic shroud of the passenger rear and check it yourself easily.

Spend $500 and install power steering. Other than that, make a ridiculous low offer and see what happens.
9k is the lowest he will go. Thought it was a good deal for 140 miles and 40 hours? Thanks again for all the help guys!
