Curious to actual height after mounting, the dirt commanders i have now are 27s but only measure 26" tall.

Disappointing...10 PSI mounted on Honda 7.5 x 12 rims (off the rear) using a level on the top of the tire and full weight on the front 27x11x12 they measure 25 5/8" on my tape with the big numbers. The front 25's are 23 1/4"...same method. I guess that's on par with most tire measurements. I have 35's on my F 250 that are 36" so go figure. If these ever wear out I'm going for 30's next time.

I had to trim the nylon dirt deflector on the brake calipers to clear the inside of the rim. I cut 1/2" and the rims on both sides fit just fine. I thought 27" tires might not fit but it's clear that 25 5/8" will fit the front wheel well just fine. I had #1 son sit on the front brush guard and he's about 240 (according to him). or maybe 260. I turned lock to lock without power steering on heated concrete and the Terrabites aren't difficult to turn...one finger...nope but not hard to do.

Going to order 2 more 27x11x12's for the rear on 7x12's and I'm sure I will like the "shorties" just fine.

I run the m1 evil
27x9x12
27x11x12
It slowed me down I have had to back down hills I should be able to get up, top speed is 40 I can hit the gov. But it takes a long time. I am going to go with the 26x9x12 bighorn 2.0 all around to get the gear closer to stock and lighter weight and get the clearance back from a lift.

I think 27/9/12 is the optimal size needed for the 700, but the approiate tread design for application of riding makes the choice!

27-11's on the way with 7x12 rims. A neighbor stopped by today and implied (just short of saying) I was a dumb ass for running the 27x11 on the front and the 10x12 on the rear. I told him to stop by in a week or so and front and rear will be 11's all around. He has a 100+ MPH something and is an expert on SXS's, otherwise a fairly nice guy. I'm happy with 30 mph 'cause that's faster than I can run. I told him a couple times I'd race him on pavement with my 1250 Bandit...hasn't taken me up on that yet.
