FYI, just throwing this out there. Just received self contained roof mounted AM/FM/BT/dome light radio for my Polaris ACE, clearanced at $200. Was thinking it could be made to fit roof of other sxs with DIY brackets. For curiosity, checked fit on my P500 and would have to move center OEM roof clamp to one side, and goes from front to rear ROPS cross members. Will install on ACE soon, solid feeling unit. Pics laying on seat of P500 for size comparison only as already have a radio in the P500. Could be a portable cig. Lighter plug unit for quick tunes, marine grade.

Pretty cool. Is that Bluetooth compatible? Or is there any other way to play music on it other than relying on radio reception??

Blue tooth wireless, usb and mini plug audio jack in the compartment for phone. 3 wire hookup, full time power, key on power and ground. The usb is for phone charging. Instruction booklet link. Heck, know its a polaris item, but duct tape can fix that. LOL.

I've thought about a ACE several times. I test drove a 500 and it was a snug fit for me but way your comfortable than the P500. I just wasn't sure about the reliability and durability. And my local Polaris dealer is a flipping joke!! I won't even go there to look!!

Yea, hard to find a good dealer, lucked up with used (53 miles) from a 75 yo friend of a riding friend. Wife drove for first time and came back with smiles. Need to hide the keys! Radio installed, sound level great, bass about expected from 6 inch speakers but good for me. Satisfied.

Thought this was another good deal. A friend has the JBL version of this, it's very well made and sounds great (SUPER LOUD). He played $800 bucks. This is the exact same as the JBL just in an Infinity housing.

I'd put Infinity Kappa over JBL! Best sounding mids I've ever put in on a car stereo install. ;)
